A little further down I spied the Stardust casino and hotel. I'm sorry, but this place looks like it would bore the hell out of me. Another one of the older resorts, they are best known for being the Las Vegas home of Wayne Newton. He performs here no less than 40 weeks out of the year and they named their main theater after him. But other than that, I couldn't find anything appealing about the place. Crappy pools, run-of-the-mill restaurants, assy strip location, and a bunch of over the hill entertainment for the most part. Anyone who watches Matlock might enjoy it, but I'll pass. Maybe I was just in an unhappy mood from having walked so far already in the heat. Sorry.
