Some thrill-seeker decided that the top of the tallest free-standing tower in the country would be the perfect place for a couple rides. Makes perfect sense. However, I am not that thrill-seeker. Furthermore, I was still bloated from my huge buffet breakfast. The tamer choice for excitement is the High Roller roller coaster that you see encircling the base of the spire. Even though it's the highest roller coaster in the world, all it does is go round and round a couple times. Hoopie-doo. The more heart-stopping of the two is the Big Shot. This bad boy shoots you yet another 160 feet in the air at 4G's in less than 3 seconds. I wussed out and only went on the High Roller. Figured there was no point in expelling half-digested french toast and scrambled eggs 1000 feet onto unsuspecting pedestrians below. Hmm...come to think of it, why *didn't* I do that? :) Maybe next trip. *lol*
