Finally, after a long day of sightseeing, I made it back to my room before sunset. It stays bright pretty late in Vegas. I opened my curtains and this is the view I was greeted with. That large expanse of water is the reflecting pool in front of the Bellagio hotel where they stage the lighted fountain shows at night. I spent some time watching it from here, but didn't take any pictures because I wanted to do that from up close. I went to bed somewhat early because I was still on Boston time and spent the first half of the day on a plane. I probably crashed around 10:00 and missed out on the nightlife. That would be a recurring theme too. I never did acclimate to the timezone, so lots of early morning wakeups and early night turn-ins. My major gripe with my hotel room is that the AC unit was pretty rattly when it kicked in. Made sleeping tough, and that's why when I go back, I'm staying elsewhere. Consider yourself warned.
