Daniel In The Lion's Den
The MGM Grand hotel and casino.  When Metro Picture Corporation (1915), Goldwyn Picture Corporation (1917) and Louis B. Mayer Pictures (1918) joined forces, they couldn't possibly have forseen such a complex as this within their media empire.  (how's that for a subtle history lesson)  Actually, the MGM-Mirage group owns and operates this, the Bellagio, New York New York, the Mirage, Treasure Island, and the Golden Nugget.  Talk about your uber-consortiums.  They take great pride in the entertainment offered here...a large jumbotron-type screen flashes a perpetually running commercial of upcoming engagements.  However, they might want to consider the psychological damage a small child would experience when a 30-foot image of Carrot Top's head suddenly assaults his eyes.  Also, it threw me for a loop when "Leo" (the bigass bronzed lion) roared at me, but then I realized it was only heatstroke.
